The Sound
From shore to streetscape, country to city — KUNI is shaped by a nomadic life, having lived across many parts of Australia and the world. Emerging from Melbourne's cultural hub, he carved out his signature sound in the local scene, and co-founded the music production school Sektion Sound.
His discography spans the top labels in the electronic world: world bass with Merkaba Music and Shanti Planti, progressive with Universal Tribe and Zenon Records, and psytech with Alpaka Muzik, Digital Structures, and Techgnosis Records.
A specialist of bush flavours, KUNI has captivated dancefloors with driving basslines and melodic landscapes — precise sound design, intricate arrangement, and a deep, empowering message. Flowing and dynamic, his sets range from quaking techno firepower to psychedelic prog.
